My name is Tanya and I am a daughter of The Most High King Jesus Christ! I guess that makes me a princess! I love the Lord with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. I am the proud mama of a beautiful, bright and creative, 17-year old girl, Nailah. I spend most of my days in disbelief that she is going off to college next year, praying that she will come home for Thanksgiving & Christmas! We share our home with our loyal but feisty mini-Schnauzer, Spirit.

My life has been full of burdensome challenges, awesome victories and all things in between. I am learning to celebrate God through it all. Each experience in my life helps to make me a better mother, daughter, sister, friend and someday soon—wife!

My passion is to encourage, equip and empower others to be who God made them to be. If it had not been for the people in my life who walk beside me, encourage me, teach me and love me in spite of me, my life would be completely different and I want to give back to others in that same way by sharing my experiences, lessons learned, successes and failures as well as the practical matters of everyday life.

I am a work in progress…and this is my journey!

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
